These pieces are the first models of Pantheanic Amphora I will be creating – eventually standing at twice the size of these models. The pieces are derived from the Greek Pantheanic amphora, traditionally a prize given to winners of the Olympics, filled with olive oil to celebrate their feat. The vessels, subverted through pastel glazes, peculiar lobbing, and mythological surfaces, invite audiences to investigate these oddly familiar yet fantastical vessels.
