This page goes over the work I have created during my MFA! Through my MFA, I am exploring how artmaking and roleplaying can be avenues for imagining and embodying better, queerer futures. Using the collaborative roleplaying game, D&D, I have been writing the D&D module, “Goblina and the Magic Ribbon.” The campaign takes place in the transnormative world of Stamvathes, a fictional world where tyrannical heternormativity is replaced by queer freedom, diversity, and egalitarianiam. In this world, my friends and I explore queer possibility as we learn about the locals, their culture, and express our autonomy in a queer world. I then use artmaking to create the following works based on these experiences. While some of my work is done alone, much of it is collaborative as I work toward my final exhibition, a large-scale immersive experience.
